As principal of Didulica & Co Lawyers, John has extensive knowledge in a range of domestic and commercial transactions. The breadth of John’s experience is significant, having worked extensively in areas of:

Property, including transfers, subdivisions, leasing, and sales of businesses;
Drafting and advising on contracts and deeds;
Corporate structures and trading entities;
Trademark and intellectual property;
The court system, including appearances at the Magistrates Court, County Court, Supreme Court, VCAT and Australian Industrial Relations Commission.

Since 2005, John has been a judge at FIFA, in its Dispute Resolution Chamber. John is the nominee of FIFPro, the global representative body of the world’s soccer players. John sits as a representative of the Asian Football Confederation and adjudicates on disputes involving international employment contract disputes, national football associations and international clubs.

John retains a avid interest in sport and was fortunate to act as General Counsel and then Chief Executive of the Australian Professional Footballers’ Association, the peak representative body of Australia’s footballers– including the Socceroos, ALeague players and professionally employed players in Europe.

Through this role, John was able to develop skill sets that deliver a range of outcomes for disparate groups. Through his work, John:

lead, negotiated and drafted workplace agreements for international and domestic footballers;
established best practice dispute resolution services which delivered over $3million for Australian footballers, litigating at forums including the Court of Arbitration for Sport;
developed a deep understanding of rules and regulations in sport, ASADA Drug Codes and workplace legislation

Since concluding his role with the Professional Footballers’ Association at the end of 2006, John has been appointed by Football Federation Australia to its Player Advisory Council.
